Beef Blend Recipes

I use this Britican Galley Beef Blend in ground beef mixtures (shepards pie, savoury mince, etc) and on top of beef cuts – it adds such an excellent combination of flavors. After the Britican Galley Italian Blend, this is my second most used seasoning mix on the boat. It makes making soups and stews a dawdle – I just cut up vegetables, throw in some beef and then a tablespoon of the Beef Blend. When I share our meals at marina potluck events everyone always asks me for my recipes.

So…find several Beef Blend recipes below and as my family and I sail around the world, we’ll continue to add more. If you’d like to get my newsletter sent straight to your inbox, I’ll update you about my latest three articles. I work hard to add a Britican Galley recipe as often as I can. By requesting my newsletter you’ll never miss a new recipe – Free Subscription Here.

Finally, although you can make the herb and spice blends yourself (blend ingredients are included in the recipe) if you’re interested in saving time and avoiding the hassle of making them up, please visit my online shop.

Britican Beef Kebobs

Above, I have a special video for you – my cousin Loryn explains how to make beef kebobs and happens to have two helpers. Featured in the video is Seaira from Buffalo, New York who was visiting her great aunt and uncle aboard Sailboat Horizons. And my daughter, Sienna, is also featured. The video was taken in Mediterranean.

The girls spent a lot of time practicing what they were going to say and in the end they thought that I was pretending to video them! This video is more for entertainment purposes rather than practical cooking, but just the same I thought it was worth sharing.

When making any kind of kebobs, you simple need some metal or wooden sticks, vegetables (cherry tomatoes, zucchini, onions, etc) and marinated beef, chicken or fish. We made a marinade using the Beef Blend and it tasted great. Also see below for another recipe.
