In this Sailing Britican Channel Update video, we’re going to finally announce our big changes for Britican. But before that, we touch on the boat projects we did this month so you get an idea of the maintenance side of boat life. We’ll also introduce you to two of our Britican Experience couples so you get an idea as to the background and aspirations of other aspiring sailing cruisers.
Within the update, we’ll show you a weird creature in the sea that we still don’t know what it is. Do you know?! And I created a new free checklist to help you create a safe boating environment. Details on how to get the checklist are listed below.

You will enjoy RI. We are in Wilmington, Nc.but grew up in CT. Sienna will love it and the sailing community is strong. Thank you so much for all your hard work helping us newbies!!

Hey John. We know Wilmington well – a lovely town. We’re going to RI for a month and then sailing down to Virginia possibly. Sienna is actually going to go to school in NC. We visit Wilmington often so perhaps we’ll see you around. Smiles, Kim

Great and exciting news for you and for most Sienna! Am sure she already made some life long friendships. It is lovely to see her develop into this very nice young lady! Good luck to all of you in NC if you are around the Lake Norman area give me a shout. Enjoyed your mailings.
Fair winds!

If you are going to do weekend overnite trips from maybe Rhode island to block island, I’m in to learn more sailing and would consider joining you in New England. Best wishes for your big change with Sienna going to school.

That’s great Sherry. We don’t know the area yet but if we do do any weekend trips, we’ll let you know. Thanks for giving us the idea. Smiles, Kim

Great vid guys, I like your idea of being a training skipper, help sort out new owners on their new boats. Haven’t heard of this kind of service before, it might exist but I haven’t come across it before. Your daughter will always be drawn by the sea, once infected always infected, its the very best infection that anyone can have in their life regardless of how you interact with the sea, and regardless of how much time you get to spend on or near it. Good luck and thanks again.

Hey Terry, thank you for the feedback. And yes – once infected, always infected (in a good way). Smiles, Kim
