What impressed me was Kimberly Brown’s transparency and honesty about her life and also that of her family. Kimberley, husband Simon, and daughter Sienna have been cruising the seas for a number of years before realizing that their money was running out and that they would need to make some money somehow. Kimberly tells us how they turned their fortunes around and started making a decent income. Now they have income from various sources both active and passive.
Throughout the book, Kimberly gives examples of how they make a living and also cruising families working from their boat and earning an income from various projects. She encourages the potential cruiser to downsize and start learning various skills that will be beneficial, not only to earn money but also the skills needed to maintain a boat.
There is a wealth of information in the book regarding chartering, qualifications required, how to set up the home office, how to have different income streams, the list is endless. I don’t think that I have ever read a book containing so much information.
