How To Fix A Leaky Mast

Boats leak from a variety of places, the mast being one of them. In this video, Simon will demonstrate how to fix a leaky mast using amalgamating, or self-bonding, tape. You can purchase this kind of tape on Amazon, at a boat chandlery, or any hardware store. The great thing about self-bonding tape is that it stretches and molds to a variety of sizes and shapes. It effectively creates a strong cover over seams.

Great…it’s the only true way to learn…..not in a force 8 though☘️ I’ve retired now and I’m away on my Day Skipper course soon with Scotssail from Largs, near Glasgow. I’ll let you know how I get on. You’ve already got my e-mail and I look forward to seeing your posts. Happy Days to all. Frank.
